Who we are

Mestaria Consultancy L.L.C is licensed by Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism, licence 1121786 (mainland), Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

We're the controller for the personal data described in this policy. For any question about it, email privacy@mestaria.com.

What this policy covers

This policy covers the personal data we collect when you use the contact form or join the mailing list on mestaria.com: what we collect, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

The contact form

When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address and message, plus any optional details you choose to add, such as company, role, phone number, LinkedIn profile, how you heard about us, or a file you attach.

We use this to route your enquiry to the right person at Mestaria and reply to you. We don't use it for anything else.

The mailing list

When you join the mailing list, we collect your email address and the topics you choose to hear about. We use this to send the updates you signed up for, and nothing more.

Every mailing list email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing hello@mestaria.com.

Signing in to private Mestaria pages

Some Mestaria pages, such as review sites, are open only to people we approve. If you sign in to one with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google, only to check that you are on the approved list and to keep you signed in. We do not use them for anything else or share them.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers that host this site, store your details, send our emails and keep spam off our forms. Some are outside the UAE; each is bound by a data processing agreement. Each only sees what it needs to do its job:

• Storage of form submissions and mailing list entries in our database.
• Sending our email replies and mailing list messages.
• Hosting the site, storing form attachments, keeping spam off the form, and counting visits without cookies.
• Recording technical errors so we can fix them.

We don't use this information for advertising or profiling, and we don't sell it. No other processor sees it.

Where it's processed

We're based in the UAE. The processors above run infrastructure in other countries, including within the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and the United States, each under its own security and data protection commitments. We only ever send them what they need to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions: 24 months from the date you send them, then deleted.

Mailing list entries: kept for as long as you stay subscribed, then deleted when you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Depending on where you're based, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email privacy@mestaria.com; we'll come back to you without undue delay.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal data and we haven't resolved it between us, you have the right to complain to the data protection regulator in the UAE.
